HOLLY LACEY

August 2019 I completed work experience on the Fashion Desk of The Sun newspaper in the News Building in London.

Here I worked on mood boards for upcoming seasonal trends, helped with organising the fashion cupboard, and assisting on photoshoots.

 

One of the shoots, was the ‘Once Upon a Time on the High Street’ column where I helped gather the clothing, organise the outfits as well as getting the models ready for the shoot. 

 

It was really interesting to understand the dynamic behind photoshoots and how quickly an idea and column can come together. The idea for this particular shoot was thought of on the Wednesday and was in the papers by the Saturday.!!

 

For my work experience I had to relocate to London which was an experience in its self.
