In 2016, I visited Rome.
My hotel was near the Colosseum so I saw a lot of it! I explored the inside by day and at night was privileged to visit the underground dungeons and hear the history of the gladiators and the tortures they endured.
Some of the other sites I visited included: St. Peter's Basilica, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, The Vatican City and Altar of the Fatherland.
Whilst in Rome, Fendi was holding their fashion show across the Trevi Fountain so I was lucky enough to see the runway, whilst next day witness the full beauty of the working fountain.
